How to Turn On the Ubotie Bluetooth Keyboard?

There is no power button on the Ubotie Bluetooth keyboard and right after you insert two AAA batteries, the keyboard turns on without requiring any input from you.

Once the batteries are inserted you will be able to see three lights at the upper right-hand corner of the Ubotie keyboard for the Caps on, connectivity, and battery level of the keyboard. To verify whether the keyboard is turned on, you can look at these indicators. 

The Ubotie keyboard does not come with batteries. You will have to buy batteries separately. However, it must be mentioned that the Ubotie keyboard is power efficient and you can use the batteries for a considerable time without requiring new batteries. 

There is no wireless charging option available for the Ubotie keyboard, at least for now, and it relies 100% on 2 AAA batteries for operation; rechargeable AAA batteries would be a good choice to opt for. 

Since there is no power button, you cannot turn off the Ubotie Bluetooth keyboard. It automatically goes to sleep when there is no activity for 15 minutes.

How to Connect Ubotie Keyboard?

To connect the Ubotie keyboard to a device the first thing you need to do is to activate the Bluetooth mode. You can do it by pressing “Fn + C” keys. Then,

Connect the Ubotie Bluetooth keyboard to a Mac

• After activating the Bluetooth on the Ubotie keyboard by pressing “Fn + C” keys
• Go to the Spotlight search on the Mac and type “Bluetooth”
• Locate the Ubotie keyboard on the list
• Select and connect with it
• Press “Fn + E” on the Ubotie keyboard (If you are on a Mac, this prompt is required to let the keyboard know it is connected to a Mac)

Connect the Ubotie Bluetooth Keyboard to a Windows PC

• After activating the Bluetooth on the Ubotie keyboard by pressing “Fn + C” keys
• Go to the Bluetooth settings of your PC by Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices
• Locate the Ubotie keyboard on the list
• Select and connect with it
• Press “Fn + W” on the Ubotie keyboard (If you are on a Windows PC, this prompt is required to let the keyboard know it is connected to a Windows PC)

Note: You will have to enter “Fn+Q” when connecting the Ubotie keyboard to Android and “Fn + E” for iOS.
